Herbs and Vegetables
In
spring, we carry a fine collection of Heirloom vegetables including
tomatoes such as Brandywine, Green Zebra, and Black Krim along with
favorites Better Boy, Roma, Big Beef and a whole lot more. Choose from
interesting varieties of corn, peppers, squash, melon, eggplant and
beans through spring.
In
fall, look for succulent leafy crops like lettuce, chard and spinach or
try your hand at growing broccoli, cabbage or cauliflower. Root crops
such as carrots, radishes, onions and beets are easy from seed. Peas
like the cool weather too.
In
our Herb department, you’ll find herb favorites such as basil,
coriander, and dill throughout the warm season. Hardy herbs like mint,
rosemary, lavender, thyme, oregano and sage are available most of the
year. In addition to these well-known herbs, we offer an unusual
selection of medicinal and culinary herbs. Visit the herb department
often as we receive new surprises weekly.
