| We plant our roses in
containers as soon as the bareroot plants arrive from the growers. We
feel that this avoids premature drying out of both the roots and newly
sprouted foliage often encountered with packaged roses and bareroot
roses in bins.
All of our roses are coated with an ‘anti-transpirant’.
This product forms a protective layer on the canes to help help keep the
plant from drying out.
All of our roses are planted in a premium
potting mix suitable for use as your planting mix. Incorporate the
excess soil from the container into your existing soil to help improve
the soil structure.
We buy only #1 grade roses (when they are
available).
We will begin to receive our packaged “bareroot”
roses early to mid December. Our “bareroot” container plants will
arrive after January 1st (or as weather permits).
All roses in this catalog are subject to
availability.
Special order roses may be higher in
price.
