Our 2010 Rose Collection is planted in containers as soon as the bareroot plants arrive from the growers. We
feel that this avoids premature drying out of both the roots and newly
sprouted foliage often encountered with packaged roses and bareroot
roses in bins, especially in our warm Southern California climate where
we often encounter 80 degree days in early January.
Our roses are coated with an ‘anti-transpirant’.
This product forms a protective layer on the canes to help help keep the
plant from drying out.
Our roses are planted in a premium mix suitable for use as your planting mix. Incorporate the
excess soil from the container into your existing soil to help improve
the soil structure.
We buy only #1 grade roses (when they are
available).
Shipments should start to arrive around the first or second week of
December or as weather permits.
All roses in this catalog are subject to
availability.
Special order roses may be higher in
price.
