Water Gardens
From
spring through fall we carry a full line of water plants for water
gardens.
Bog
plants such as Water Iris, Pickerel, Cyperus, Sagittarias and unusual
Taros can be used on the margins of ponds partially submerged.
Oxygenating
plants such as Anacharis, Valisnerias, and Hornwort are essential for
keeping your pond healthy.
Floating
plants such as Azolla, Water Hyacinths and Water Lettuce provide
essential shade cover to the pond’s surface as do the leaves of Water
Lilies and their relatives.
We
stock both hardy and tropical Waterlily varieties. Some of our most
popular tropical water lilies include the highly variegated foliage on
the varieties Pink Perfection (pink) and Madame Ganna Walska (purple).
Favorite
hardy lilies include Gloriosa (dark pink), Colorado (salmon) and Joey
Tomocik (yellow) and the true miniature Pygmy Helvola (yellow).
